That sounds amazing!!
Yes thank you Janine and everyone else for all the work!! We now know what challenge does NOT work for us lol.I used to do gang bang, I just realized I didn't ever finish because of needs for other challenges which irritated me lol.
Claudia, I hope your kid gets better soon! RSV is making the rounds hard this year and is no joke.
2 years ago and last year I made a "released in 2020" and "released in 2021" shelf on GR so I could use that for nominating, but didn't this year and just don't feel up to the searching! I'll have to bring it back next year
Trio wrote: "oh, I did really like Pirates, and it was good bc it forced me to read a bunch of books I wouldn't have otherwise read.I signed up for Batchelor - hopefully I'll get a good team this time around...."
WOAH, wait why does bachelor always bring out the drama?? lol and Why did they get removed?
I am loving plague but I agree with Janine we have a wonderful team! I actually like the tasks but I kinda expected it based off Brittany’s last challenge (which Caipi hated because she also had a terrible team). If you ever need me to search for something don’t hesitate to ask!

Seconding Somebody Killed His Editor because I love JX and Kit!
The one thing with Lanyon I'd say is if a series looks good to you make sure it's complete. There's been a couple she dropped and she tends to overplan and need to scale back so things end up coming out later then they say so I wouldn't get too excited about upcoming books (I've also checked out her blog and it TOTALLY makes sense so I try not to hold it against her and just only read the ones I either a. really want to or b. they're all already out).
I can also say the WORST Lanyon series in my opinion are:
The Adrien English series starting with Fatal Shadows--although this is pretty much everyones favorite Lanyon series and a lot of people's all time favorite MM so YMMV
and
The Bedknobs and Broomsticks series starting with Mainly by Moonlight.
Both are because the LI is a terrible person and I don't believe the "redemption" arcs (I never finished B&B series so I guess it could turn around)

I usually cocaptain that one and we can request to be on the same team so I can help you out if we do end up together :)
Kirsten wrote: "Can someone tell me what group Uno is in? I'm a bit terrified and a bit excited."Might be this one? I can't remember, I'll definitely send it to you when it comes around. It's a lot like this one with the spell part, but then there are also mini challenges that have tasks
Jessica wrote: "I actually realized I have 2 "I" books on my TBR....hmmm. I'll see what I get through. I want to finish my queer tag books first but I can probably finish one of them at least if we need an I towar..."Do you read romance? I like this one (but Kirsten did NOT enjoy it so I'd say take a look at past years to see if you'd like it): https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... (and here's a link to my past team thread if that helps: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...)
And then this is the one that Kirsten and Ashley were talking about above: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I think both these will overlap with Uno though
Finished 1 I book and will have another one today. There's a narrator I really enjoy with an I name so downloaded quite a few.

Ugh I don't know why I keep forgetting lol. Done!
How many books can we have this time? Could we add some more? All we have left is:
1 O and 1 U (And I can cover the O with my current book)
And then for scavenger we only have 2 rums.
Jessica wrote: "I'm also not understanding how I'm able to have it on that shelf and my read shelf. Because it isn't showing up as read now"Are you on mobile or desktop?
Is there like a countdown for when rounds end? Or is it like Sunday and we get the words Monday? I'm running slow right now but am gonna have more time throughout the week so just checking
Trio wrote: "I have a really hard time not finishing a book, I just keep hoping I'll get what the author is trying to say - and I trust too much that there's a method to their madness.Just an example... Jake ..."
I will forever stand up to say that Jake is complete trash 😂 The Holmes and Moriarity series is far superior and I don't know why most people love Jake & Adrien so much.
Deanna wrote: "Trio wrote: "Is this one of those challenges where we actually get extra points if we find the thing on the cover... are we trying to find a book with a Blue Skinned God or Goddess on it?"We can ..."
So reading this does that mean after 5 blue books are taken they don't count towards the extra? and it looks like people have 5 books planned already that count?
I was gonna reread the Lunar Chronicles series since all the books are tagged space opera, will just have to check enough tags (its 10x right)?
