Of course today was an incredibly busy day at work and I finished nothing! Not the best start, but in a pretty good spot to finish some tomorrow since I started a couple

Can you get me the ISBN or ASIN from your kindle version? All the kindle versions I can find have the one cover so can't change it unless I can find that cover used for Amazon.
I'm pretty sure that you could link the version yours has though even if it's a different format, since it is what actually matches what you're reading
That one looked good to me as well so I'll sign up as your backup! (And if you need anything from me just let me know :) )

I see Beth volunteered! I'll volunteer as backup and Beth if you get chosen we can try to come up with some together if you want
I was thinking of reading it but coming up with DQs intimidates me...I'll sign up though so we have someone in the running but if anyone else is reading it please help me lol
RE BOM, from Mods "Within a month of the start date. BOM tab has the stop dates for them"So The Malevolent Seven- Start: 16 May--End: 16 June
Salt & Broom-Start: 25 May--End: 25 June
As far as mini, we don't have any info yet, but are (I think just assuming) at some point we will have additional challenges known as "minis" thrown at us. We will keep everything updated as we get more information!
I actually think you can participate any time in the challenge! But the BOMS start this month on the 16th and 25th anyway to accommodate the challenge, so if it is a month, it would be a month from that moment. I'll try to verify :)

We don't really know either! So far I think that the only constraints are going to be food/weapons/shelter/defense, and then more will be thrown at us
You know what, I’m rereading the answer and think I’m wrong and they may just ask for specific color covers later so carry on lol
Beth, just a heads up, it’s color cover (>50%) not color on cover! They clarified this in the captains group.

That works for me, so you don't have to double up! Unless it makes it harder for anyone else, but I usually know what book you're talking about so can find the link
My husband is going to be very excited. These are some of the only books he's ever read and I haven't yet but he has told me to for forever
Hunger Game Buddy ReadsInformal buddy reads will be held for the original trilogy of the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. One informal buddy read for each month of the challenge.
Informal buddy reads means there will not be formal discussion questions as with our groups BOMs.
However, in order to earn the 20 points for participation, players need to post at least 3 posts that provide a reasonable contribution to the discussion of the book. You do not need to provide a school worthy book report, but the posts need to be more than "Katniss is awesome" or "I love this book" to count for participation points.
The Buddy Reads for each book will run as follows:
The Hunger Games: May 15th to June 15th
Catching Fire: June 15th to July 15th
Mockingjay: July 15th to August 15th
