Sweet, thank you!!! I just looked up a couple of those you mentioned so have a much better idea of what to expect. I will definitely join you in June for The Perfect Mother :)

Do you have any favorite editions of the books?? I've been wanting to ask for the whole series of books for a birthday or Christmas gift idea. The original copies my family had somehow all ended up in my brother's possession (which is okay because I sill steal them from him when needed), and although it's hard for me to move on from the original copies that are so well-used and well-loved, I feel like I need a set of my own to wear down. I just don't know where to start as far as quality vs. price goes on them!

Yes, I would love that!! I've never done a buddy read before, so I might need a little guidance :)

I do the same thing! I love getting mp3 audiobooks, too, but I tend to go through those pretty slowly and have to check them out from the library a few times before I actually finish them. I've tried listening to them throughout my days when I'm doing other things, but I always end up missing important info thanks to getting distracted. I love them for in the evenings, though.

I'm currently inbetween homes - my husband and I are building but currently living out of an RV in his parent's yard. That being said, while I'll have lots more time to read on this long "camping trip," it's really weird for me to not be close to my home library where I get pretty much all of my books. I'll be reading quite a bit more ebooks over the next couple of months, that's for sure!

I read pretty much only fiction - young adult, fantasy, sci fi, new adult, romance, historical fiction, and anything that someone can highly recommend. Please recommend me your favorites because I love finding new "hidden gems."
My shelf is titled tower-teams-2018
I have no idea if I linked it correctly, but fingers crossed

YAY, I'm so excited to be on Team Flitwick!! (although I'm secretly a true Hufflepuff with a lot of Ravenclaw thrown in there)

Yes!! Can't wait for our private thread so we can discuss a plan ASAP.
Is this all of us? I know I haven't seen the co captain comment yet, but just wondering what our numbers are!
Yay, the challenge has officially started, but I know I for one will wait until normal hours to start reading, especially once I know more of what goals we need to meet. Happy 2018 all!

Hi Krissy!! Nice to meet you. I love audiobooks, too! Do you have any favorites on audiobook that have nice narrators? I usually just borrow ones from my library that are available, but I hate when I get one where the narrator is hard to follow or just doesn't seem "right".
Do any of you have plans for ringing in the new year?!

I've never asked anyone before if they've had those moments, but I'm hoping other bookworms can relate!!

I'm going to add that series to my list! Thanks for the recommendation. Lol, I have so done that before where I think I make it obviously clear what I REALLY want my hubs to buy for a gift, but he usually likes to go off on his own and find me things I don't ask for.
This year I received Oathbringer for a gift and a The Name of the Wind shirt from Litographs!
I followed you on Insta, Talia!

My name is Amy, and I live in snowy Minnesota with my husband and our cat (Chuck) and our sheltie dog (Walter).
My favorite genres right now are fantasy, new adult, young adult, some historical fiction, and a little scattering of everything else inbetween.
I can't wait to start this challenge with you all!

First of all, super stoked to be on this team. Alice in Wonderland is my jam.

Nice to virtually meet you, Cait! That sounds like a perfect full house, and a wonderful/fulfilling job to have. What breed of dogs are they?
