I'm inching my way to 1,000 points.

Happy New Year team! I'm going to get on a computer (not my phone) and update my read list.
Sorry I've been absent, I had my surgery and have just felt like poo.

Erin: holy cow! Dream come true!

Merry Christmas team! Hope you all have a wonderful day and get to spend with those you love!

V: I hated 50 Shades. The story was bad and not a good example of erotic fiction. Plus it was just a terrible example of BDSM and how that kind of relationship works. I felt the story was repetitive.

Kristin: I was honest and told her I had... Then laughed and ran off haha

Luckily my mom is librarian so I never had to have the awkward "what is 50 shades about?" talk. However, she did ask if I'd read them...

It's interesting. But the way it's written it comes across as already having a lot of back story instead of the first in a series.

Have any of you read
Iron & Velvet? I've just stated and not sure how I feel about it.

V: I second Kristen, Girl With the Dragon Tattoo is better on audio. So many similar foreign names and places that it flows better.

Kristen: that's exactly how I felt about Winter's Bone.

Kristen : I am ok. Had to travel back to my hometown to be closer to my dr. Looong story short, a few years ago I was in a bad car accident and injured my leg really bad along with many other body parts and was in the hospital for 5 months. Had to relearn how to walk and everything. But i recovered and was doing well and moved to live with my boyfriend. So the other day day when I fell and broke my leg I re-injured it and needed to come back home to a dr that knows my injuries. Lame.
I'll need a surgery in Monday, but hopefully all should go well.
I'm still reading and will update my post. You guys are awesome!

Oh I read Defending Jacob it was pretty good

I had no idea there was a movie. I'll have to check it out.

Oh I really liked We Need to Talk About Kevin.

Thanks you guys. I'm doing ok. Should be going home tomorrow.

Thank you Emma. I'm trying to look on the bright side.

I finished the third. I agree with some others that the third was less exciting than the first two.

On a personal note, I am in the hospital right now. I slipped on ice and twisted my leg that was previously broken in a car accident. I broke the femur again and have some knee damage.
I've mostly been resting the last two days, but hopefully I'll have more time for reading.
