Yes!! This is a "single player game" so everything is available to you to do! This white dragon this is a unique event where we work together, but usually all the quests are done alone at your own pace.

The monster explanations are included under the "Monsters" thread and separated by type.

Uncommon monsters = there are a limited number, once you kill that many they are gone. DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT A WEEK IN BETWEEN KILLS
**these will say (population __) to show you how many you can kill total

Timed = you can kill an unlimited number of these, but can only do it after a certain amount of time has passed. This time period will be listed after the monster (ie 1 weekly means you have to wait a full week after a kill to kill another one)

Rare = there is only ONE of these, so you can only kill it once

Minor Hidden = you need a puppy that has "minor tracking" to attack this monster (see puppy quest and Jack/Jill training school)

Hidden = you need a puppy that has "minor tracking" AND "intermediate tracking" to attack this monster (see puppy quest and Jack/Jill training school)

Nope, the scrounger list is a quest like everything else. So the books used for that are gone and can't be used for anything else.

Tomorrow friends!! Wednesday (5/11/16) I will have 1 more potion token that I would like to trade in exchange for some Kitchen books so I can help with the dragon quest!!

(I'm trading 1 to Morgan and will have 1 more to trade).

Here's what I'm looking for - hoping to get 4 books, but would be willing to trade for #1, 2, 3

In order of NEED
1) Build a fire place - Read a book with a red cover or one about firefighters.
2) Read a book with fruit on the cover
3) nature scene on the cover
4) read a book with a cake on the cover for desert
5) Hang a pot - Read a book about a witch or a chef.

I really liked The Language of Flowers which would work for that Karsyn (I don't remember it being tear jerker but the MC was in foster care and didn't have the happiest life).

Oh wow I feel silly. I've actually read both the stories in Cruel Crown separately. I thought maybe this was a new one :( Guess I'll have to wait until the next novel comes out.

Lucky!! I love that series and I was so excited to read it. I belong to 2 libraries and they don't even offer it in any format. I am moving at the end of the month and my new library (once I join) has It so I guess I have to wait!

Yay Zuzana!!! I'm going to kill my first Merely Kat on Wednesday and hire the twins for an extra pelt too!

So for rations, right now I'm working on my kitchen. I still have all 10 books to read for that (buying 3 of them from Morgan) and then I need to read 2 books for the actual rations. I found a bunch of short books but I have no idea if they will fit into the kitchen (I'll do more research on Monday). I also need to buy 1 salt and 1 acorn from Reva but will have the gold for that.

Morgan - thank you I'll definitely trade a token potion for those 3 books. I'll have the token on Wednesday morning. Also random question, but did you get Cruel Crown audio from your library?! It's driving me nuts in trying to get it (audio or Ebook) and my library doesn't have it. I can't even get the kindle book from Amazon!!

I also just realized I JUST need my kitchen and I don't have to do the whole making a recipe for the queen for steaks (meaning the quest plus herbs and salt quests) woooo! That would have taken me far longer.

Thanks Reva!! I also spent some time yesterday looking through over drives audiobooks and clicking on each one to find short ones that looked good. I have s bunch and now I'm crossing my fingers they can fit somehow into the kitchen and rations.

Random question - has anyone else read Series? Do you remember if this book takes place near a lake (does the castle have the lake or some kind of water?) I feel like it did, but want to be sure before I use it.

That's what I was really hoping for.....and why i was so disappointed that NOT ONE addition had 100 pages. Surely someone included the title / dedication pages in the page count :(

No rush at all, except it's shaking things up. I was on a "Strict" course I set for myself in this game and it's kind of fun to throw plans to the wind and hustle to help out everyone. So the rush (for me atleast) is purely of my own making.

I started this from the beginning and still have A TON of things to do, but this is a nice diversion and makes it more like a real game. Nothing goes as planned ;) This was a great way to force me to get that tracking and kitchen, which I may have kept pushing for later and later.
