I'm confused about the colored stones too. Can they only be used once in the Magus battle? I got confused and thought we could use the blue stone twice and another stone twice?

Magus - 30-2 Attack 750 Health - The Magus is a master of numbers and a bit odd overall. If at the end of the round Magus's hp add up to an odd number he will steal 13 HP from his attack target for the turn. (Example: Round 1. Hero hits Magus, Miffy hits Magus, Magus hits Hero. Round 1 ends. Magus HP = 321. 3+2+1 = 6, 6 is even. Round 2. Hero hits Magus, Miffy hits Magus, Magus hits Miffy. Round 2 ends. Magus HP 294. 2+9+4 = 15. Miffy - 13 HP, Magus + 13 HP.)

I've been having similar problems with my sword. The duplication potion has become my savior!

Yes I got 58 AP for Miffy then too, which is awesome. (also totally forgot about the hat....whoops)Sorry before I had a typo, I have a lvl 2 puppy, so that would be +4. So it's 17 attack + bauble. (this is why I do all my calculations in excel).
So thats +18, +19, +20, etc for each round. With a lvl 11 sword, I quickly get to just 1 and rely on the add ons.
I might have to get a cat just so I can use the stun collar.

Yeah I don't think I need to attack him right now.I plan to use all the modifiers possible, which amounts to 18 +1 each round (2 bonus, PPP +2 horse, +2 puppy +3 wep, +3 damage +3 orb, +1 bauble).
With a monster at 500 that's going to take a lot of rounds, which means 1 shield potion and 1 type of heal potion each time the hero gets attacked. It will be roughly 20 rounds.
I am going to reallllllyyyy need that potion OR the yellow stone to tackle that one.
Does anyone have a strategy for the Sorcerer? Right now it looks like it will take almost 50 potions (heal and shield) for me to defeat him and I'm just not sure it's worth it.

Wizard - 15-2 Attack + Fireball 200 Health - The Wizard will cast a fireball at you every turn in addition to his normal attack. The fireball will hurt you for 5 damage. However, it also lights you on fire. Being on fire will cause you 1 damage every round. The next fireball (directed at you) will light you on more fire which will cause 2 damage every round (and so on and so forth until you're really really fired up). You can cure 1 unit of fire by dousing yourself with a book whose title starts with the letters I, C, E, W, A, T, or R. (You can also douse Miffy with her own book).

Ghost of Big Heart - 15-2 Attack 120 Health - A large pinkish yet semi-translucent Yeti that only shows up during Hallmark holidays (I'm sure they sell Halloween cards). It used to have a big heart and a soft spot for weakness and death and destruction. Use your weaker (lower level) weapon for an additional 6 damage. If your weapons are the same strength either may be used for the damage bonus. Miffy can't bring herself to attack the big fluffy thing and just stands there awestruck of its cuteness.

Ghost of Rock - 50 Attack 300 Health - The rock is not happy that his friend is living the life of glamor as the pet of a Hero while he is lying dead in a ditch, slain by that same hero. Life (and death) is not fair. This rock can bewitch your rock to hit you in the head at the start of each turn for 5 damage. (Your rock will hit the current target of that turn. Whether it be Miffy or the Hero.) Needless to say, your rock won't be helping you out in this battle. (If you have not received a rock, feel glad that you can avoid being hit, but the Ghost of Rock will still not like you, but for other reasons, deep seeded reasons, you shouldn't ask, it's not healthy to know.)

I agree, I think it's after the monster attacks you, that attacks your power and then its effect is seen in the next round. Either way, you get your first attack with full power.
