35559 The week of Thanksgiving might be a light reading week because I only work 2 days and thus my audiobook time will be pretty low, so I'm trying to use every spare moment I can in the next 2 weeks to read or listen. (I'll still be reading, it'll just be slower than audiobooks).

35559 I love pecan pie! Especcccially chocolate pecan pie!

I'm actually an HUGE fan of cozy mysteries so I can read some for the pie.

I can read both Peach Pies and Alibis (if it works for genre) and Pecan Pies and Homicides since they're on my kindle and I think 1 have one of them as an audiobook.

Question - "Genre we can use PIE" --- Does it have to be pie alone? Or could it be like "pie mystery series" as genre?

35559 I can't figure out the best strategy for wheel-a-thon guys. It seems like the team in first place read a bunch of middle-length 200-400 page books but finished A LOT of words. I would think getting more page points would be better, but it's hard to really figure it out.

Is it better to read longer books or more books, but shorter?

35559 Finished a book and started a new one last night (that I bet I'll have finished today).

I am guilty of staying up late to read and then when I force myself to stop---- I just lay there staring at the ceiling thinking about the book and not being able to sleep. Sometimes I should just keep reading and forget pretending to sleep! That;s what coffee is for!

35559 I am working on 3 longer books so I won't finish anything the rest of this week (but have big plans for next week!)

Also I'm hoping to join the BOM The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein discussion, - BOOM I just got the audiobook from the library so I WILL be joining!

35559 Ok guys I finished 2 books for this week. So I'm working on a couple longer ones. Queen of Shadows (648 pages) & Muse of Nightmares (514 pages) - I'm pretty confident I can get those finished for next week's letter.

My hubby and I are also starting our new car audiobook World Without End. It's 1014 pages and I'm pretty sure we can get it done before the end of the challenge (even if I have to sneakily finish it on my own and then re-listen to the end with him).

Since Hubby and I moved away from friends and family... that means A LOT of hours in the car around the holidays... I think we are traveling almost every weekend between now and January.

I also have a quick Z book all lined up and ready to start this weekend for Zombie!
