Okay one more question about the sapphire dragon - if I use my sword for the first in the 4th round, does my Growth Weapon Enhancement still add that +1 each round even when not used? So it has a +4 for the 4th battle?

I have a question about The Great Emerald Dragon"It's partially resistant to potions and spells. You can't use any potion more than once; after its first use the dragon counteracts the potion's effect (it gains resistance for the duration of the battle)."
So for example, the Greater Poison Potion...
Does that mean we can use it for the first battle (-10 each round) but once we run away, we can't use it more for battles? Or does that mean it would only work for round 1 of battle 1. But then we could use it again next week when we return for battle 2?
I think because this dragon is attacked in parts I'm just getting confused about all the rules effecting each part VS the ENTIRE battle.
Also Spells have no effect with the exception of stopping the dragon's regeneration (see above). - Does that mean we can't use spells at all? I thought that was the way to fight this one since we can only use sword and staff once per day.
A book I'm reading now inspired some kind of half ideas... (I'm not so good at details, just trying to think of general ideas).Quest - Seeing Double

Random question about Scrounging"The word may be plural." - but what if the scrounger word is plural, can the word in the book be singular?
I'm going with no, exact matches just to be sure, but was wondering how others interpreted.
Apparently I'm going a little nutty because I forgot to pick up my trained squirrel!*plops down 30 gold * - One trained squirrel pretty please!

Stress Relief - Thanks to Daphne for the quest - DONE.A Hero's job in Novel Kingdom is hard. There's books to read, monsters to kill, quests to track, ale to drink....
A Hero deserves some stress relief to take his or her mind off of the troubles of the world. That's where your pets come in. Why else have them? Their ability to combat monsters, find hidden treasures and seek hidden creatures is nothing on their ability to calm the troubled soul.
Play with your pets for some much needed stress relief. You must have each pet to be able to play with it.
Note for find items: Each type of item must have it's own potion and can be acted on individually by an item requirement reducing item.
