Queen Skye's Winter Holiday

Decorate the palace
More than anything the Queen wants a fabulously decorated main hall, with banners and lights and - of course - a beautiful tree!

Tree
First, find a tree, by spelling out SPRUCE (must use NEW books, read after you start the quest, to avoid premature needle-drops)
Next, wrestle it into a pot by spelling out POT
Finally, make sure it's nice and straight by reading a book with a tree on the cover

Now the tree is positioned, it's time to decorate it and the hall! Go crazy here, finding books with things to hang from the tree or on the suits of armour and weapons around the hall.

Colour scheme:
you can use: up to 6 books with colour covers to set the colour theme. You get 1 XP for each book you use (to a maximum of 6 XP), You can choose to have as many different colours in your scheme as you like but for each different colour you use you LOSE a point. So, if you have 6 books with 6 different colours you will get a total of 7 XP; if you have 6 books all in the same colour you will get a total of 12 XP
- 1 colour = 6 XP
- 2 colours = 5XP
- 3 colours = 4 XP
- 4 colours = 3 XP
- 5 colours = 2 XP
- 6 colours = 1 XP
For the purposes of this, use TinEye, and the colour cover must be 60%. No debate over what TinEye says, however wrong you feel it to be!

Decorations:
In addition to books for the colour scheme, you can hang up to 10 items on your tree / around the hall, using items on the cover, 1 XP for each item hung (i.e. maximum 10 XP). Feel free to be creative, and to brag about your tasteful / gaudy decorations in the Tavern!

"stockings were hung by the chimney with care" - let the guests hang up the stockings: read a book with a stocking (or sock) on the cover

✅️"Mamma in her kerchief and I in my cap" - provide guests with hats to wear: read a book with a person wearing a hat/head covering on the cover
Clean Sweep - 18th November

"eight tiny reindeer [...] he called them by name" - guests must match the antlers to the reindeer: provide name tags by spelling out one of the reindeer names (Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen)

Uncommon Monster: Snowflake Heart
A large silvery Yeti that only shows up during snowy holidays. It has 6 limbs and icy armour. In order to start fighting it you will need to throw a Phoenix Feather at it (uses a turn - it will attack you first). You can throw a Phoenix Feather as your attack, for 20 damage. (Population: 6)
6 Attack 66 Health - Reward: 6 XP, 1 Snowflake Arm
Note: you get Phoenix Feathers after you acquire Falala in the From Ashes Comes My Bird quest

Festive feasting
The palace chefs have refused to make everything for the feast, so each guest must bring along at least one meal of their own (you can bring more if you want). Make a festive meal!
Your meal must have 16 ingredients, found by scavenging food words from within books. You can find:
- 12 ingredients in books of 500+ pages
- 8 ingredients in books of 201 - 499 pages
- 4 ingredients in books of 100 - 200 pages

2 XP and 1 gold for each meal made

Receive 10 XP and a Bed for gathering all the materials. Bed will heal you 1 HP every Sunday.

You inquire as to if that's a good thing and she likes the knight. She glares at you. "No! I'm hot because it's the middle of summer and I'm bothered because Sir Quinn is a ninny. Im a mod in another group and will be doing my second travel challenge around India which is a 3.5 month group challenge, i probs wont have time for a third big challenge as im allready in Brits Plague vs Cure challenge (which im loving) she does amazing challenges!!!!
