35559 From Team Vanity, here are my 3!

1) Life of Pi - I read this one back in high school, and I just could not get into it. I know people love it and it's written well, but it was also so. boring. I tried watching the movie a couple years later to see if I'd like it better in cinematic form, but gave up 30 minutes in.

2) Frankenstein - A classic that didn't work out for me. I don't hate this book, it's just really not my thing. I hated everyone except for Frankenstein's monster, and then ended up hating him too. Didn't care about any of the characters enough to get emotionally invested.

3) Safekeeping - This one really irked me - I think the only reason I finished it was because there's a *lot* of pictures. The entire plot is a girl walking, and writing about how she is walking. Repeat. I could hardly stand it. The copy I read also had a weird smell, but I won't pin that on the author.

Oooh yikes, this definitely seems like something that's going to come back to us!!

I'm glad people are listing books that others loved, so maybe I won't feel so bad for my contributions...

35559 Morning!
Sounds like everyone has been having a busy (or at least eventful) week! My week is looking pretty average, though busy at work as we're rolling out a big project on Oct 1.
Have a good Wednesday everyone!

35559 I haven't done any bujo-ing myself, but I used to watch a lot of Youtube videos of people who did - I love the different designs and themes that people come up with!

My weekend has been pretty quiet so far, though my boyfriend and I stumbled on CN's 100-year anniversary celebrations yesterday which was neat. Today is a relaxing day, though you guys have inspired me to go for a run.

Oooh, I hope the work ones go well!
And I know what you mean about cleaning out - I thought about trying the Marie Kondo method when it got popular a while back, but I don't know if I'd ever be able to reclaim my bed after all of my mess got piled on it.......

I'm reading Undertow right now, which is pretty good so far, though not sure how I feel about the main character.

As a side note, I had thought finding a purple cover would be really easy, but apparently they're more rare than I thought. My plan of attack may just be standing in the library and staring at the shelves until something shows itself to me :)
