35559 I can't seem to put the actual link on the spreadsheet. I know someone said how to do it, but I can't find the instructions.

35559 I am working on Four Seasons in Rome: On Twins, Insomnia, and the Biggest Funeral in the History of the World. It will work for task 77 since it has a city name in its title.

35559 Oh my goodness. I feel so far behind. I got my class syllabus for the summer semester that starts tomorrow and I was dealing with that yesterday. Hopefully, I'll get to planning today.

Yes, audiobooks are allowed. Use the page number of the default edition.

There is no paper version of a few of the Audible exclusive audiobooks, that is why I am asking. I see now that it's 5 hours. Thanks!

I loved The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo,The Home for Unwanted Girls (Takes place in Canada), and I am working on Becoming. Those are off the top of my head.

Thank you! One more question... Do we have to finish the entire first word before starting on a second round of it? For example, if we are missing the N, but have the other letters, can we start reading for the next round of word before that N is completed?

35559 Wow. I fell behind. Can someone point me in the right direction of what I am supposed to do next? There are sooooo many messages that I missed.

35559 I loved The Color Purple. I read it last year with my bookclub, combined with the movie.

35559 Nevermind. Just answered my own question. Got it!!
Jun 05, 2020 02:53PM

35559 So, any book we read has to be part of the spell out? We can't just read for a task?
Jun 05, 2020 12:17PM

35559 Just clarifying... We can't START any book for the challenge until after June 12, correct?

I started looking at the challenge list to see what I can work on. There are two parts to this challenge? Spell out and the challenges? I am sorry. This is my first time playing wheel.

35559 - who are you?

I am Denise. Mom of two mini adults, 22 and almost 20. They are both in school, and have been working on classes from home, via Zoom. I work as a radiation therapist, so I haven't been sheltered at home for all of this time (since March 6 here), but my family mostly has been. My daughters and I live with my mom, and my daughter's girlfriend lives with us, too. The girlfriend is still working, too, so she at least gets out here and there. We are still all on top of each other most of the time.

I have also been doing the errands/grocery shopping, etc, for three households. I am just recently getting my brain around all of this, and have started reading more again.

I decided recently to go back to college to get my bachelor's degree in English Lit in Spring 2021. I am finishing up the transfer requirements this summer, and I'll be taking a few practice classes in the Fall.

- where are you? I am in California.

- what's the best road trip you have been on? A friend and I drove from home to Las Vegas, and to the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. We stopped wherever we felt like stopping, and had an app to tell us what the points of interest were near us. We had a great time and had lots of pictures.

- what's your fantasy road trip look like? I'd love to hit every state and see something interesting in each. Hawaii would have to wait until I'm not driving, obviously.

- do you have a favourite road trip / travel book you want to recommend? I enjoyed Lost Children Archive, which I finished recently. It's about a family road trip from New York to Arizona.

Yes, that is my shelf for the challenge.

35559 Good morning! I am checking in. I didn't want to forget to do that. I will get to the questions later this morning, since I know it will take me a while to answer them.
