If someone does, ask for a new itinerary and also in..."
Just sent a pm to the travel agent.

We only get the points as a bonus to the page points for reading it.
There are quite a few people who are stuck there - read it too recently to have a valid reread for this challenge :("
Awww that's sad... :(

I started Mixed Plate: Chronicles of an All-American Combo, I have been wanting to read this but I can only fit it in a couple of prompts.

TMC- To Whom So Ever It May Concern

I'm trying my best to finish Equal Rites but I can't just get into it. I don't think this is for me. :(

9 . What do you think on the creatures from the dungeon dimensions? Do you find them creepy?
I think they are creepy, no matter how cute they are, they still live in the dungeon.
10. I enjoyed the Esk’s thoughts about being both witch and wizard and wanting to defend the one to the other. Do you sympathize with this view (more in general than in specific regards to magic fields)?
I understand her feelings. I think if a person has experienced both worlds, it's hard to hear when people just sees the negative aspect of them, I guess Esk just wants people to be more open minded.
11. Why do you think Esk’s magic did not work?
She was probably rushing it, wanting it to happen in an instant especially when the magic needs a lot of time to work.
12. Esk is supposed to be precocious but also nine years old. Do you think she acts in a way you could see a nine year old acting?
Yes I guess. Every kid is different plus with the people around her, she acts what she sees and does what she's taught?
As a member of Team Ook, the bonus question is: Is not the librarian wonderful and would you want to be turned back in his place?
The Librarian is wonderful, makes the scene interesting every time. I wouldn't want him to turn back in his place because he's more fun than when he's still a human.

@Maddielucy, I saw your book, The Couple Next Door on the ss, I have read it and liked it :)

Starting with a Bonus question...
“They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but it is not one half so bad as a lot of ignorance.” (Granny said)
First off, who are “they”? I have always wanted to know. Secondly, do you agree with “them”?
I think ‘they’ just means the people. I agree with 'them' since I would prefer to know something than me being kept in the dark.
5. Esk went ahead and did not follow Granny’s advice, and thought since she had a feeling she could get into the bird’s brain, then why not do it.
When you were a kid, did you jump off the swing, or touch the hot burner? If so, give us examples.
Do you think she learned something from it, or are we looking at shades of her future University life?
I was a good kid growing up. I can only remember me being called by my teachers for standing up against a bully by punching him on his right ear, that's it. I'm a school-house and vice versa kind of kid and I was like that until college.
On Esk's case, there is a big chance that it will be her future University life but who am I to say that we can't change who we were? It's just my opinion though.
6. What do you think of Hilda and her version of Headology? What do you think of Headology in general?
Headology is just psychology in Granny Weatherwax's vocabulary. It is what people believe to be real. It is how they view the world and the things that happen in their surroundings, the reality and the fantasy.
7. Esk finds herself on a moving barge. Loved loved loved the resume of talents beyond washing and sweeping that Esk rattles off in an attempt to stay on the boat. What skills could you bring to the barge?
Not much, probably in organizing stuff.
8. Speaking of the barge, what do you think of Esk’s decision to just leave Granny? Did she mean to leave on her own adventure, or was it an accident? Do you think her matter of fact attitude is a product of her magic, or just her personality or upbringing?
Esk leaving Granny is more like an accidental event. But her attitude towards it is possibly because of her personality and upbringing. She is an adventurous kind of girl and Granny being her role model to be an independent person.

I can probably get to it this weekend.

1. If you are new or relatively new to Discworld, what do you think of Pratchett’s world and writing style so far? For more experienced Pratchett readers, what are your favorite things about his writing style or Discworld in general?
This is my very first Discworld book. I have seen good reviews of this series so might as well give a try.
2. So we have our plucky heroine Esk and her witchy mentor Granny Weatherwax. What do you think of our two main characters and their relationship with each other?
I like them both. Esk wants to do everything fast paced and here is Granny Weatherwax who wants to do it slow and I love her wit which makes me laugh sometime as I progress with the story.
3. A major theme is witch magic vs. wizard magic (and women vs. men), and I can’t wait to learn more about these different magical theories and world views. What do you think of this dynamic, and which type of magic are you more drawn to?
Well, equality in the 80's? I'm not so sure really, I was born late 80's so I'm considered to be a 90's kid but anyway, I'm interested to both. I'm sure they are unique in their own way but I'm still 35% of the story so I can't say more.
4. Oh dear. Esk went a bit too far with the borrowing. What do you think is going to happen next? And what will Granny say or do?
I'll probably skip this for now, I think I'm not at this part yet.

Looks like we are all done and ready for the next stop.....
The detour does not look appealing to me at all.
It's also our last stop😲"
The last stop?? I want more!!
Yes the detour doesn't look good to me too.
