@Celia, that book would work but you can read any book if you want.@Louise, I haven't read any of them but I think I'd go for The Goblin Emperor
It's a Sci-Fi subgenre. It has steam powered carriages, automatons, dirigibles, ray-guns, etc. Here's a link to popular steampunk books:https://www.goodreads.com/genres/stea...
Well, that's four of us.For some reason I think the page limit is 125 in this group, but I wouldn't swear to it.
If we have at least four of us that can read for Steampunk we can do the detour :) I'll be reading a Steampunk book later this week.
I like Steampunk - but most people do not. So, I'm good with Spell out if that's the way we want to go.
At least James Patterson is now I believe listing his ghost writers on his books too - like presented by James Patterson or something.
Maddy wrote: "Well yes and no. She uses ghostwriters. A lot. Especially for her newer books. In the 90s she still wrote them all herself, at least most of them. But these days she is using ghostwriters and that ..."That's probably why I used to love everything she wrote - I thought she was just calling it in, but she was calling other people :)
Completion Post - Itinerary 7Stop 8: Russia
Task: Spell it Out...book with S
Book: The Rule of One by Ashley Saunders
Date Read: 4/17
Hey all! I created a tracking sheet for our new Itinerary. Our first stop is:1. Saarbruecken (DE) - Ufa (RU)
Ufa in Russia
Detour: Read a book shelved (listed on the first page of the "top shelves" of the book) as 2007 - plurals and minor spelling variations are acceptable
Seems like a reasonable detour. Do you all agree?
Do we still want to start May 1st, or do we want to start today? Or some other day?
Hi all! Yes, I have been really sick for the past few weeks. I would love to continue with this challenge as it is one of the least stressful group challenges I'm in.
