I completely agree. Especially when you re-read the books one after the other so that you can truly appreciate how Rowling's writing matures and the story just gets better and better. The world she creates never ceases to amaze me.

I just started, listening to the Jim Dale audio.

I'm going to start The Dark Prophecy by Rick Riordan in a few days. I think it should work for Divination Class.

I plan to start either tomorrow evening or Tuesday. Got a couple others to finish first.

So true, every time I read it I pick up more details that I missed or had forgotten. But each time I come away thinking how magical and amazing this series is.

This was my fourth reading of Sorcerer's Stone and I had heard so much about the audio versions that I really wanted to listen to it. It was really good! I hope you get your copy soon.

I finished. This was my first time listening to the audiobook. I listened to the Jim Dale version and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Now on to Chamber of Secrets!

Chapter 4 (view spoiler)[ is one of my favorite of the first book when Hagrid makes his appearance and figures out that Harry hasn't been told anything about his parents. Also, putting the pig's tail on Dudley is hilarious (and so fitting!) (hide spoiler)]

I just finished some books for other challenges that unfortunately I had to start before this challenge began. So I couldn't count them. But I'm all caught up now so everything can be used.

I'm in for Team Nymphadora Tonks. Currently reading Book 1.

I signed up for the Grave Mercy buddy read starting 5/20.

Just started the audio. This will be my first name listening to the book rather than reading.

I definitely agree that the first and second books were more Children's books than the later ones.
