My new lab is named Char, short for charcoal according to my 22 year old son who has had to have her sleep in his room so our next door neighbor can sleep at night. Of course, this was the two nights before his organic chemistry final. Oh well, now man and dog have a week of play time and hopefully dog training.

I'll start The Skin Map by Steven Lawhead for a "S" and cover has 50% red or is really orange?

Reading Molly Fyde and the Parsona Rescue by Hugh Howey - character name Cole for a "C"

Hi everyone, just adopted a lab mix that's very active and barks at night so I'm just checking in now. Looking forward to lots of reading.

Finished The Mime Order. I enjoyed book 2 more than book 1.

Finished Feed and The Woman Upstairs

I keep reading something else and then coming back to Strange & Norrell to try and get it finished and stored away. Only on chapter 42!

I'm in for finishing points.

Just finished The Illium by Dan Simmos

Just finished A Land More Kind Than Home by Wiley a Cash. I enjoyed it more than Winter's Bone. The characters felt like you knew them as your rural southern cousins you may have visited as a child.

Just finished A little something different by Sandy Hall. Cute book for Valentine's Day, there are hearts, Starbucks cups, Chinese takeout containers, and a squirrel on the cover. Sorry I forgot the bench, all these items have a story to tell in the meeting and dating ritual of Gabe and Lea. I"ll store it with my Valentine's decorations to reread next year.

Still reading on page 224

Loved the creepiness of Chapter 16 - Lost Hope

I'll catch up on reading this weekend. Only beginning Chapter 12.

I keep thinking this reminds me of The Pickwick Papers by Dickens which is somewhat slapstick too.

I'll be about 100 pages in, so let's discuss tomorrow.

Finished Mortality for Beautiful Girls
