35559 I'm good with new word and genre.
I can read 2-4 LGBT books.

ETA: Also, if the team wants respin, I'm fine.
Jul 19, 2019 12:49PM

35559 I'm also done for the week :)
Jul 19, 2019 08:01AM

35559 I will be done with my book 1h before the end of the week. (Maybe earlier).
** All details are on the SS and shelf.

I think for start put me down for two, but I will try to read three (whole Illuminae trilogy)
Jul 17, 2019 04:36AM

35559 I vote for keeping. I can finally read The Illuminae Files :))

But If the majority decides to re-spin, I'm fine with that too.

ETA: We have 3 weeks until the end and 2 respins are not used yet.
Jul 15, 2019 10:36AM

35559 I can read one more genre book :))

No problem.

35559 Shelby, you got picked for backroom DQ (20 July - Day 4)!
Jul 13, 2019 12:40PM

35559 I will try to participate in all of them, except back-room one - romance is not my genre of choice.

We have 4+1 BOM's where we can participate.

Daisy Jones & the Six - 2 July (until 2.08)
Dry - 16 July (until 9.08)
This is How it Always Is - 22 July (until 9.08)
Good Omens - 2 August (until 9.08)
* What Remains - 17 July (until 9.08)

PS! 9.08 - the date when the challenge is over.
Jul 13, 2019 10:17AM

35559 I have both paperback and ebook, so I will be reading it, but no DQ. I am really bad at coming up with Q to ask.
Jul 12, 2019 11:23AM

35559 Until the deadline is approximately 2h, 'cuz Eni need some time to enter all our remaining books.

Agree. I love horror, but I had enough of it for a while. So NO horror, suspense, and memoir for rest of the challenge, please :P
Jul 10, 2019 03:29PM

35559 We have 9 books claimed for genre horror, and 5 of them are read. So, I would say if you can read some horror book(s) that would be great :))
Jul 10, 2019 08:53AM

35559 I'm good with the genre, can read at least 2 books for it. Not sure about letter U, but definitely can find a book for it too :)

ETA: I'm fine if we decide to do a respin.

But if Rebecca provides a sentence where this phrase is mentioned, it should count? Or not?

ETA: I mean, I am going to read The A to Z Encyclopedia of Serial Killers which is also a non-fic and I gave a sentence from it.. I hope that's fine?
Jul 05, 2019 01:21PM

35559 For tricky words, we need only Freddie Krueger. I hope someone can still find a book for it, so we could get all max points possible :))
35559 Day 6 DQs
Chpts 26-33 (End)

20. So Molly and Reid finally got together (not like we didn't see it coming) but I was surprised how it escalated so quickly. Talking about sex already, after Molly's first kiss ever? And not wanting to take things slow? What did you make of this?

That they are young and it’s their first love??

21. Frankly my parents never gave me the dreaded sex or birth control talk so reading or hearing about them always makes me laugh. As much as I enjoyed that scene, do you think Patty jumped the gun with this considering how new the relationship between Reid and Molly was and that Molly had never had a boyfriend before?

I also never had that kind of conversation with my mum and you know what – I’m glad. Every family is different, so I think it’s fine to talk about it and they have talked almost whole life about that kind of stuff, so I don’t see anything unnatural here.

22. We've seen how the relationship between Cassie and Molly has changed and how they have started to grow apart. Molly realizes how inevitable it is and believes that change is "the most basic of all tragedies." Do you agree with this?

Yes and no. We all “grow apart” that life. But if you have always been close and will talk thing through. It’s fine.

23. I loved Molly's transformation from the beginning of the story. She gained more confidence, found her own voice and became more comfortable in her own skin. Overall how do you feel the author did in dealing with these issues?

Pretty good.

24. Going into this (& not really remembering the synopsis), I think I had different expectations for this story because of the title. What do you think of the choice of title and how it related to the story?

I was hoping from the title to see more unrequired love and rejections. Molly got over her fear to be rejected, that’s good.

25. How did you like the book? Thoughts, feelings? Any characters you most related to?

I gave this book 2.5 stars, so I didn’t really like it. I was annoyed by some scenes and how characters acted – too teen for me, maybe? Mostly, I related to Molly, but also Reid.
