35559 We are Ravenclaw as that was moaning Myrtle's house. We are working with the 3 other Ravenclaw teams, Flitwick, Lockheart & Lovegood against the 4 Slytherin teams.

Great so what do we do? 😆

Also, I'm reading Red Sister now cos it has to go back to the library, so can I still participate in BOM?

Yeah, I googled the Lisbon thing. Weird to choose Lisbon, as opposed to GMT.
I'm letting you all know now, I'm a slow reader, so I'm probs not brill for any position 😐 but as I said previously, I'm happy to do whatever. Just assign me a position, it'll be like a lucky dip. 😁

I'm in GMT so the sooner you let me know my position, I can get started as soon as it starts.

35559 There doesn't seem to be a rule against helping the seeker find the golden snitch. Or are we just to assume we can't? If we can help the seeker to find the snitch, then really it's not that daunting. Personally, I think a fast reader should be our seeker. Cos even if it takes a bit longer to find it with a quick reader there's always a chance of finishing the book first. Unless our opposing team seeker is a quick reader too. But then, 🤷‍.

35559 Team Moaning Myrtle

1. Argus Filch because he was so cranky but loved his cat. I also liked that he didn't take sides he just wanted to punish the kids, but not in a creepy Dolores Umbridge way.

2. Dobby - I loved Dobby. He was so kind even though he was terribly mistreated. And he loved his Harry Potter. I cried like a baby when I read his death, which was embarrassing cos my mom and I read them out loud to each other. It started as something we did when I got pregnant in 1999 and we just carried it on to the end.

3. OMG it's so hard to pick just 3! The cruelty. Harry Potter, how could I not choose the boy who started it all. Without Harry there'd be no one else. Besides he's loyal, compassionate and full of faults like all the best literary characters are.

35559 My reading of All the birds in the sky got put down twice, so I removed it from Avada Kedavra (it's on cruciatus). I do have Firelight posted complete but I haven't put it towards anything cos I didn't know if we wanted to use it for a class. It will work for the A I took my duplicate entry from, so we can put it there. Just let me know and I'll add it or pop it there yourself.

Since I'm reading for other challenges I'll give you the current & next few books in my reading list.
City of Light, Firelight, Taken, The Good, The Bad and The Undead, The Red Tent, Red Mars. Maybe they'll work for something. Personally, I'd assume 1 task per book, otherwise it would be very easy. But I didn't read anything in the rules that said we couldn't.

Covers of the above for color reference.

Carmen has already begun arithmancy.
I'll have Firelight finished tonight or early tomorrow and that could be 1 half of the incendio charm or several other class options.
