What I hate about pre-challenge is that I get so excited about reading, but then any book I want to start I am like "oh no, I should wait for the challenge to start it. It'd give us good points".

I've done it already two tasks ago and don't feel like reading another one right now.

Direction: East - even number of pages

H - Hennessee in Upside Down (258 pages)
E - Ethan Day's As You Are (200 pages)
L - The Lion and the Crow (146 pages)
P - Prince Caspian (240 pages)

I've done it like that more or less by accident so far. But I don't think there are so many connections between series in her earlier stuff, no?

Okay, so... If I understand correctly, you need to read all her stuff in publication order. 😅 No going from one series to the other willy-nilly. Well noted

And Team A.L.P.H.A, I don't think I read it all. But I remember liking some, but not all.

I looked it up online. It happened not so long ago, back in june.
But no details on what happened exactly (not that I really need to know, but just curious).
She will be missed.

Do you like Crista Crown's stuff? I have to admit that the books co-written with her weren't my favourite.

Oh no ! I had no idea. I'm so sad. Whilst not great literature, I enjoyed her books so much. 😥So so sad 😢😢

I just finished Under the Greenwood Tree. It's maybe not the best Thomas Hardy book to start with, but the TBR jar picked and I had to obey.
It was alright, but it was difficult to take seriously when one of the main character is called Dick and the other Fancy.
I had to laugh out loud when Fancy said, "I like Dick". 😂

That's also the way I treat challenges. If I don't have anything on my tbr that can cover the challenge it's pretty inconvenient. And when I really can't find anything I'm slightly curious about, that's when the fun stops.

Yeah, some of the prompts are way too hard. I had to skip three times in a row... And I hate skipping...
Next maze I will request one with a lower difficulty.

Yesterday I read two short books, with many ingredients. Coraline and A Prayer for the Crown-Shy Too bad we can only use 4 and 2 ingredients for them.
Prayer had fish and salt, so I suppose we're going to use that for a fish and chips

The tv show is one of my all time favorite mini series. I feel ashamed I haven't read it yet.
