Spreadsheet updated till Post 202!We have completed 4 spell-outs and covered 2 special bonuses so far! Great job everyone! :)
P.S. Please ensure that all the books you have read are added to the respective shelf that you would have created for this challenge. The books won't be counted to our final tally, if they are not added to the shelves.
The spreadsheet should be updated till Post 161, with all posted books so far. Do check if there are any discrepancies.I will let Vicky come work her magic to get Week 2 added to the spreadsheet. No hurry on that just yet!
Laura wrote: "Provided Apoorv rolls properly for us in Challenge Factory's Super Series, I will continue with the Firefly Hollow series. On of the MCs is named Owen. ."LOL! The dice really needs to favour us there.
I hope you get to keep reading that series. I can't for the life of me fine a quartet of a series that I would either like or get books in time from the library! So, you are going to be the savior! ;=)
The spreadsheet is updated till Message 125!Tammie, I have added Crazy Rich Asians and NOT added An Unkindness of Magicians from your list (Msg. 118) - we can obviously move things around when we start.
Let me know if I am missing anyone or anything!

You know you only get completion points for the first spell-out, right? :D"
*goes to a corner and starts singing a sad song*
Why did you have to be right, Alysa?
It felt nice for a while to live in a bubble of extra points.
*wipes a stray tear*
LOL! Thank you for catching that though! :D
But, still...
ALSO, if a majority of us can participate in the BOMs (and it would hardly be two sets of BOMs since the challenge runs for only 6 weeks), either writing those DQs or answering them would give us loads of extra points!
Laura wrote: "What’s better? Longer books/fewer letters, or more letters/shorter books?"For once, I am going to err on the side of getting more books in instead of getting bigger ones done. If we can complete as many spellouts in a week as possible, we have the chance to get the bonus completion points and they add up for sure.
But then, I would definitely recommend being in the 400page range because that is a nice cusp to get an extra 20 points for just a few extra pages. (I liked it when it was 350 pages though - a lot of books fall in the 350-400 category and it used to help a lot just getting those additional points)
But but but, if you are a super speedy reader, I highly encourage you to hit the chunksters - your speed can gain us more points. Relatively slower readers can squeeze in an extra book if they read comparatively smaller books.
Cait S wrote: "I'm the same. I'll fill in whatever is necessary. I have about 20 challenges going at once so whatever I can make fit in more than one spot is a bonus so I'm going to wait and see what we need when..."Oh, I hear you!
Finding that one book that fits multiple challenges can be both fun and frustrating, all at the same time! :P
I am going to keep myself open for selections as well.I will read whatever spot we need to fill, plus I am beginning to collect a bunch of CBOWE books as well.
Hey! Hey! Hey!Welcome Barrelers,
So glad to be part of another iteration of Wheelathon!
I love this game, it's so much fun! :D
Great to see so many known faces in the team as well. I've had great fun with a lot of you in many other challenges across GoodReads, and I'm ready to add this to that list. :)
