1. What was your favorite vacation?
I spent a month in the UK a few years ago. That was lovely, especially the old libraries and Oxford.

2. What's your favorite dessert?
hmmm.....tiramisu or green tea mochi

3. What are your favorite TV shows?
I really don't watch TV, but when I do it is discovery or history channel documetries

4. Do you have any pets? What are they?
Yes, 2 cats. Garrus (5 years) and Tali (3 months)

5. What's your preference: ebook or hardback/paperback?
I love old hardbacks. There is just something wonderful about looking at an entire shelf of them.

1. What are your favorite book genres to read? What do you least like to read?
Favorite genres have to be sci-fi, fantasy, and anything historical. Least favorite paranormal romance followed by anything romance or chick lit

2. What are 5 of your favorite books?
This is a hard one for me. I really don't think I can give an honest answer. I love to many

The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien
Charlotte's Web by E.B. White

4. What's your favorite kind of book challenge?
One that makes me hunt for new books I have not discovered.

A dark teal blue/green

I am M. I live in Vancouver BC and am the happy mum of 2 fur babies of the meowing kind. A complete book nut, I spend most of my free time reading. I work at a local book store so I always have something new on my shelf. My favorite genres are sci-fi, fantasy, and historical fiction.

This is my first time being a co-captain. I am in the pacific time zone and usually near a computer. Looking forward to this challenge with all of you.

OOOO first class should be interesting. I am game if you ladies are.

Good morning! I had a lovely time. The author I met was Guy Gavriel Kay, he is so nice. He signed both of my books and even chatted for a little bit.

Happy Thursday! I am so excited! Tonight I get to go to a book signing for one of my favorite authors. My husband creature does not understand.

I am so excited for this, can't wait to meet my team mates and get started

I can't wait for W.O.B.B.L.E. I will be able to take down my TBR for the year. Is anyone else signing up?

I have read almost everything Asimov has to offer, he is one of my favorite authors. I hope you enjoy it.

Joining in quite late but this is a reading challenge I NEED to complete. My TRB is literally a mile long with books on it from 2013.

Beautiful spring weather here in Vancouver. I hope all of you have had a chance to enjoy some sunshine. Reading outside is always so much nicer.

Nanci, I am doing the same thing. Going through me eReader and finding the ones I can do right off. Can anyone suggest a book for detour # 4 (under top shelves as comedy). The is not a genre I read and have no clue.

I picked The Gunslinger for the first stop. It is a bit skinny at 231 pages, so it will probably only get 4-5 of other books in this week.
I was planning on picking a book starting with an "A" for and extra in the spell it out .

I have a series of 4 books by a Russian author ready to go for the Ufa stop. I searched my store for Saudi Arabia and came up with one book...just one. So I will be posting all my extra baggage for that.

So when are we officially starting? Next week? I am working strange hours that days bleed together.
