35559 It sounds like it does work, if we remove the A then we have the two words starting with H, which is fine according to their response.
I'm reading it in any case since I'd already started it, we can wait to confirm if it works for this goal, if not I'll write down the extra info anyhow and we can use the book later.
I thought alliteration could include either sounds or letters, which is why I'm surprised Nancy's book doesn't work since there's an N sound in three of the words, even though one starts with a K.
Dec 08, 2015 08:42AM

35559 That sounds confusing to me as well :S.

I'm in the middle of a book called A Hearing Heart, if the word "A" doesn't count we can use that one?

I want to finish the Deep in Your Veins books before this one and I still have several of those to go, but thanks for the rec, glad to hear it's good.

Goal-- Read a book with a facial feature in the title (Eyes, Lips, Nose, Mouth)
Dec 05, 2015 11:02AM

35559 Gea wrote: "I think it would depend on the role they had in a book. I don't think that one short appearance at the beginning makes a character. Do they have any later role or another appearance in the book?"

I only remember them popping up during that kidnapping scene, around the middle of the book or so. Shannon might remember more though cause I read it a while ago.
Dec 05, 2015 10:48AM

35559 I'm going to start reading Amber Eyes. It works for the facial feature goal and happens to have a cougar shifter, it's shortish so shouldn't take long.
Dec 05, 2015 10:45AM

35559 In the book Spiral of Need from our goalless list, I remember the heroine gets kidnapped by several tiger shifters. She knows they're tigers and she hears them talking in the car, then she escapes. If the goal doesn't specify it has to be a main character, maybe it counts for that goal.
