Trinia’s comments from the Nothing But Reading Challenges group.

I have one book . It’s set in Crete and obviously has horns on the cover. It is included in Audible plus.
I might be able to squeeze it in before the deadline but don’t want to if someone else has a current read.
I have one to finish today and will check back to see if it’s been claimed. I figure it would be a good back up for Crete or horn either way. (No farm though 😜)

Found a book set in Colombia- so that was harder than I thought 🥴 but am excited as this is how I find great reads that I would never pick up otherwise

Also, do we want to try for 5 point books first on the Mini? I've found a horn book and a crete book, but feel like finding a cornupia book or one in Peru, Panama, Colombia or Venezuela might be easier and a book I would rather read.

I agree the movie and book were close together , which also makes sense of why the movies are so long and it took 4 instead of 3 books.
I think I need to re-read Songbirds too... completely forgot the context!

It’s my 3rd time reading (watched twice). Still love it as much as #1. And of course the book is better than the movie, but the movie is pretty cool too!

Rue was my favorite character even over Katniss, though we can’t help but love her too.

I’ve been wondering about that horn task.
Can it be either a horn like 🦄 or a horn like 🎺 ???

We get quite a few tornadoes too here in Texas and the past few weeks have been pretty hairy! Luckily We got a shelter after a bunch tore through just North of us and relocated all of the cars in a dealership 😱 miles down the highway 😳

Do we need specific book pages? Or can I just give examples of defense, shelter , etc?
