We got the house. Now my anxiety has kicked in. This will be a big change of lifestyle. Smaller place, no yard, townhome, close to town. Closer to the girls. It's a ranch townhome which is really good for us older folks. We can walk to restaurants and coffee shops. I am sure I will like it just nervous. We close July 31....

Wow , I have been absent for a few days and had to catch up!

Victoria - I finished The Library at Mount Char and I loved it. I got lost a little in the middle but the ending was great. I don’t usually reread books but I think I may have to reread that one. I also really loved the Night Circus. 2 good books in a row !

I am 5’5 and 3/4 and I always round up to 5’6”! My hubby is 6’2” and my girls are 5’9” and 5’10” . I am the short one in the family.

We made an offer on a house and we should here today whether it is accepted. Finger crossed!

I will add my book to the spreadsheet later today. My sister is coming for California for a visit. Next week will be a slow reading week for me.

I hate writing reviews also. I feel others do such a better job of it. I know when I really like a book like The Night Circus but really not very good at putting my feelings down as to why. I seem to be able to write negative reviews easier, especially if I really hate the book. I dont like doing that too much , dont want to be negative nancy.

I love hearing about your lives and what you are all doing . Thanks for sharing. I am currently reading the Library at Mount Char , should finish soon. It is very interesting!

Oh, and I did manage to finish 2 more books. The Night at the circus and Becoming Human. I added them to the spreadsheet. Off to some open houses. : )

Yes , it is stressful If you see a house you like you have to make a full price offer right away! We are moving just an hour north to be near out 2 daughters. So when we see a house we have to hop in the car and drive. Hope we find something soon : )

Sounds like you had a great time Sophie. I have been busy looking for a new house. The Denver market is so hot by the time I find a house it is already sold! It is a sellers market with bidding wars too!
