North Yorkshire’s comments from the North Yorkshire Library Service Book Group group.

I found this a hugely enjoyable tale, with sympathetic and diverse charecters set in an interesting historical period. Some of the of the "medical" descriptions however were very graphic. I don't think I would have enjoyed life on a warship under sail!
