Sam’s comments from the Books With Coffee Stains Reading Challenge group.

This month, I read Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, and holy CRAP was it incredible.

Of course, Good Omens is DEEPLY inside my comfort zone - probably a good thing, considering all the changes we've made to the show so far. Luckily, though, my (and Morgan's) love for Mr.s Gaiman and Pratchett carries over.

The subject matter of the book was perfect, too. You can set me up with a cup of tea and a comedic take on the human condition any day. Add a heavy dose of the supernatural and a healthy dash of irreverence and I'll be there faster than you can say "Aziraphale."

Like Morgan, I also recommend you read the bonus material included in the book I chose this month - not only will you be touched by the palpable friendship between two people you don't even know, you might just understand a little better why this book works so well.
