I chose to read Shatterday by Harlan Ellison


It was a phenomenal collection of short stories that really comments on the human condition in a way that is terrifyingly comforting.

I focused on Shatterday in this episode which was one of the stories I felt really represented what Ellison was attempting to do with the book as a whole. It speaks to the human nature and how easily one can get lost in themselves and how simply difficult it can be to change one's life.

If you do nothing else ever, please read the introduction Ellison wrote for the book. It might have moved me more than the book itself.... might have.
