I'm excited to start reading! Are we trying to follow a specific schedule while reading, or is the goal just to finish the book at our own pace before the end of the month?"
The goal is to just finish by the end of the month. I really hope its good...

I'm so glad you're joining. I just hope it's a good one... It would suck if this book ended up turning a lot of people off of Historical Romance... >.<

Once I've read a series this year it gets added to list below which is my 2018 list. My goal isn't to finish all these series but to at least make progress on all of them this year.

The Dragonet Prophecy by Tui T. Sutherland
The seven dragon tribes have been at war for generations, locked in an endless battle over an ancient, lost treasure. A secret movement called the Talons of Peace is determined to bring an end to the fighting, with the help of a prophecy -- a foretelling that calls for great sacrifice.
Five dragonets are collected to fulfill the prophecy, raised in a hidden cave and enlisted, against their will, to end the terrible war.
But not every dragonet wants a destiny. And when the select five escape their underground captors to look for their original homes, what has been unleashed on the dragon world may be far more than the revolutionary planners intended . . .

The Perilous Gard by Elizabeth Marie Pope
In 1558, while exiled by Queen Mary Tudor to a remote castle known as Perilous Gard, young Kate Sutton becomes involved in a series of mysterious events that lead her to an underground world peopled by Fairy Folk—whose customs are even older than the Druids’ and include human sacrifice.

Once Upon a Marquess by Courtney Milan
The last man Judith Worth wants to see again is Christian Trent, the Marquess of Ashford—the man who spent summers at her family home, who kissed her one magical night…and then heartlessly ruined her father. But when a tricky business matter arises, he’s the only one she can ask for help. With any luck, he’ll engage a servant to take care of the matter, and she won’t even have to talk with him.
But Ashford has never forgotten Judith. He knows she will never forgive him for what he’s done, but when offered the chance to assist her, he arrives in person. His memory of Judith may have haunted him, but it pales in comparison to the reality of the vivacious, beautiful woman he rediscovers. Throughout his life, he has always done what is correct. But now, he finds himself doing something utterly wrong…falling in love with the one woman he can never have.

So here's the thing. I don't want to not be able to start any new series in 2018 (despite the fact that I already have 70 ongoing series.) There are so many series I've been wanting to start for years that I want to get to this year! Not even including all the book clubs and buddy read that I have. So this is what's going to happen. I'm going to limit the series that I start but also reward myself for finishing series and reading sequels. Here are the rules.1. For every sequel that I read I get $1 to spend on books. (this will come into effect after 10 books are read for an easy way for me to track it.)
2. For every 4 sequels that I read I will be allowed to start 1 more series
3. For every 3 series that I catch up on I will be allowed to start 1 more series
4. For every 2 series that I complete I will be allowed to start 1 more series.
5. No books will count for 2 things. For example, if I read 4 sequels but one of them finishes a series for me it will be split up ie. 3 sequels & 1 finished series.
6. Buddy Reads & Book Clubs wont count as my rewarded series. (I thought about this a lot and the reason I decided this is because I love doing those 2 things and don't want to feel like I'm missing out on books because I don't have enough sequels read. As it is, I usually have 4-6 buddy reads and book club books every month that are the start to new series. So I'm going to work on what I can and keep up with my new series.)
My goal for this tracker is to focus on my sequels more. As of the Beginning of 2018 I have 72 ongoing series and 11 series that I am caught up with. I want to be more responsible about starting series and keeping up on sequels. Instead of pounding through a bunch of series since I usually don't binge them, my goal is to have read every series on my currently reading pile in the past year. So I'll be diving back into some older series so I don't feel like I'll have to reread the books over when I want to read the next book. This is just going to help me keep them fresh in my mind. So here are all the series that I am currently reading and the last day I read one of the books.Feb DNF'd
