Music played a HUGE role in the creation of Eve Of Samhain. One band in particular, Cute Is What we Aim For, fueled several of the major scenes, specifically the song, Safe Ride. Chapter 10 and Ryann and Quinn's first touch wouldn't have been the same without that song.
Any special songs remind you of Ryann and Quinn?? Feel free to share!!!

Hahaha! I love that scene too, Sherry! That was a fun one to write :)
Funny you should mention Cam Gigandet. He was one of my early runners for Quinn, but I eventually decided he didn't have enough mass to play him. He's definitely ripped, but not quite big enough IMO. Sexy as hell though, woohoo!
Lol, I know what's in Martha's trunk :)

Hey, Sherry! It's so good to see you here! Wow, you work in a neonatal intensive care unit? I'm in awe of you. That's some important work you're doing right there.
If you love to write, then girl, you need to write. The more you do it, the better you'll get!

Hi, Alison! LOVE Passion Fish! Great read! My girls and hubby know to leave me alone when I'm writing as well :)

Great question, Elizabeth! I'm very much a panster. I usually flesh out my characters before I begin writing the story, figuring out backstory, motivation, physical characteristics etc. I have a notebook where I jot down ideas for each of my characters, things they might say and so forth. I wouldn't call it an outline, but rather a chaotic mass of info in which I usually end up sifting through time and again as I write.
The plot is a different story. I don't outline or really plan ahead at all. When I start writing, I always know a few key things that need to happen, and the ending. Everything in between is purely organic and character driven. I enjoy finding out what happens next as much as everyone else!
I get most of my writing done in the mornings when my girls are in school. I snuggle up on my recliner with my laptop and my chihuahua (she keeps me company) and type away from around 9-1 each day depending on how much housework I need to get done. Summer is a bit more difficult as everyone is home and there's a lot of distraction. I'm making it work though :) When I'm editing, I'm like a machine, and my family knows I'm pretty much lost in my own little world. I'll sit in my chair all day and type, not getting up except to pee and eat, lol!

I remember writing that scene like it was yesterday! It's funny because I'm very linear when I write, and that was the one and only scene I've ever written ahead of time. I saw it clearly in my head and had to type it out so I wouldn't lose it. I remember my breath catching right along with Ryann's when she finally laid hands on Quinn. Swoon!

Okay then, peeps :) Now that EOS is out and people have had a chance to read, I'd love to hear what you think. Who do you picture as Quinn? I know I have someone in mind, but I'd love to hear what you all think!

Hi, Stephanie :) Welcome! Paranormal and fantasy are my favorite genres too!
