Maybe because I bought my Kindle in the US Amazon store. But it's still registered to the address in my country... But I see most of the ebooks on discount even when they say it's USA only. I am not complaining though. :)

As you said, owning the Kindle ebook is so much easier. When I am in a mood for something, I don't have to get up and look for it at the bookshelf, I just download it from the cloud. :)
