⟿ Secret Santa Assignments: How are participants assigned/paired up?
On December 1st, once everyone who wishes to participate has RSVP'd to the gift exchange on Elfster, I will tell Elfster to draw (or pair) names.
To find out who you are paired with ...
Check your email for a message from the-elves@elfster.com with the name of our Gift Exchange in the subject line (Name: SOS' Secret Santa Exchange YEAR) plus "Names...." for the name of the person you've been assigned

Put on your Santa cap and shop for your buddy! 🧑🏻🎄 The Exchange ends 20 December. Please purchase and ship your Secret Santa gift no later than then.
Keep your eye out for your delivery and share with us once it's received.

1. Click on the Secret Santa SOS' Secret Santa Exchange invitation link provided in the signup thread
2. Create an Elfster account, if you don't already have one: https://www.elfster.com/home/ and include your preferred mailing address for your Secret Santa
3. Once you have an account, click on the yearly SOS’ Secret Santa Exchange @ Elfster
* You may already be linked to the SOS exchange after you've clicked on our exchange invite link
4. To ensure we can keep the exchange international, please link only books available at Blackwell's on your wishlist (https://blackwells.co.uk).

5. Add a minimum of three books (linked back to Blackwell's book page) to your Elfster wishlist
* When your Secret Santa clicks on the books on your Elfster wishlist, they should be redirected to the book's purchase page at Blackwell's where the item can be bought and shipped to you. Your mailing address should be listed on your Elfster account.
This page is reference only. I'll provide Q&A from Elfster & helpful links to make sure your exchange runs as smoothly as possible. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a PM or post your questions on the specific yearly exchange thread.
The exchange signup begins late Nov-early Dec each year and runs until 20 Dec. We ask that participants stay in touch via the Elfster exchange thread or the SOS chat threat. so we know everyone received their book.

Hey, SOSers! I know I've been kinda quiet lately. It's not you, it's me 😉 Things in my RL have been all-consuming, which has kept me from being as present here as I'd like. I'd hoped to get a final BSB round up before the end of the year, but sadly I've had to admit to myself - and now you - that it's just not gonna happen.
I continue to have challenge, BSB and discussion ideas, just not the time to cultivate and share them. I'm hopeful, come the new year, that'll change.

Zanetti gave some status updates on all of her series. I'll include them here, since she doesn't (yet) have a sep author page. (The Dark Protector books are yet listed on GR, so no links included. )
I’ve been getting a bunch of emails lately (thank you!) asking what’s next, so here are the most common questions:
1. Will there be another Dark Protectors book?
Yes! Two are coming in 2026:
EYE OF THE CAT — June 29, 2026
HEART OF THE HUNTER — September 29, 2026
2. Will there be more Deep Ops books?
Yes! Two new novels are planned for 2027, and I’d love to sneak in a novella in 2026. No promises, but fingers crossed!
3. Will there be more Knife’s Edge (AK) books?
Absolutely.
BURN OF SUMMER — April 28, 2026
SHADOW OF FALL — tentatively October 27, 2026
4. Will there be another Redemption, WY book?
Yes! I just don’t have a release date yet—stay tuned.
5. What about the next Grimm Bargains book?
ONE SHATTERED CROWN (Ella’s story) is finished! It releases July 28, 2026.
