Nova called out to Elizabeth. "RUN! Now, just RUN!"

Nova aimed at one of the officers and fired. "Stupid terrorists," mumbled November.

Nova panned right and saw Elizabeth talking to officers.

Nova climbed to the roof of the laboratory and took out her sniper rifle. She looked through the scope and panned left. Nothing.

Nova looked down at a computer. She sat down in front of it and started looking for something. A file.

Nova nodded. "I joined the army at twelve, saw first action three days before my 13th birthday, was promoted to special ops on my 14th birthday."

Nova nodded. "It would take a sniper from too far to see me to kill me. Otherwise I's smack the bit*h across the face and then kill her."

Nova shook her head. "No. I can stay and protect you all."

"They don't barge in to kill. They wait. And wait. And wait."

"Colonel November Terra, special ops. I'm the best of the best."

November grinned. "What's your name? I'm beginning to like you."

"In 2515? I doubt." Nova took out her standard rifle. "Pure Italian renaissance technology, with futuristic additions."

"Trust me. You don't know." Nova narrowed her eyes. "This is not bullets. No. You load in a metal block and the smart-computer inside calculates the distance to the target, the speed and direction of the air/water current, and then shears off an appropriate sized chunk to hit the target."
