Hi Jess:
My interest in the 5 Civilized tribes began as a spin-off of my hurricane book. I interviewed a 93 year old lady who had gone to school with the first Seminole boy to attend high school in Florida in 1917. I thought that was my story. However in researching the reasons why - a very dangerous journey -- I ended up in the 16 hundreds with the Creeks and the other 4 tribes.
I laid down the project for awhile until my next fiction book comes out but hope to get back into it soon.
