Oh lord that is something i strongly avoid nowadays in my romantic books. But one title i remember is Brenda Joyce`s After Innocence. I also remember a friend telling me about a historical title where the h walks in on her husband H having sex with the femme fatale servant in their bedroom. TRAUMATIC.

Have you read Gypsy Lady by Shirlee Busbee?That hero was a sure cold-blooded and cruel hero who makes the h`s life miserable.
Shirlee Busbee and Kresley Cole is a master on those! And lets not forget the epic way Judith McNaught describes her steamy sex-scenes...damn! I AM GOING BACK TO RE-READ SOME OF THOSE!!!!
Devil`s Embrace is in my list to read before i die.Have forgotten how many times my friends nagged me to read it,ahhh but i have a feeling i will love it."Whitney my Love" is one of my fave novels of all time,read it first when i was 15, after i finished "Once and Always" (also by JM)...so many memories..
Ooo i have never had THAT problem as far as i know!"Once and Always" and "Whitney,My Love" by McNaught are my all time favourite books, and i have loved her other books too. I have read 20 books by Lisa Kleypas, and i adore ALL of them.I have read "Lord of Scoundrels" and "Captives of the Night" by Loretta Chase and i LOVE those two,must be the way Chase enlighted the angst in the characters and in the name of love.
I love all of Shirlee Busbees books,some more than the others,like "Desecive not my Heart"...Meagan McKinney`s "When Angels Fall" i thought slightly overrated,but i still gave it 5 stars cuz of the way it was written,and thats the only book i have read by her.
