It's been horrible. I live in the desert and we've been having horrible heat lately, plus my mom had a stroke and we're going back and forth between the convalescent hospital and home, running errands for her and stuff. All I want to do is stay inside where it's SORT of cool.

Things are super quiet on Goodreads for about the last month or so! Groups that are normally hoppin' are almost dead.

Things are so slow on Goodreads lately. The past... month or so? Seems as soon as kids got out of school, the groups quieted down quite a bit.

I just listed a book for giveaway! I couldn't remember where we did that, so I added it to the General Folder.

All of the groups have really slowed down recently. It must be the summer months.

I've read some really great books recently, but I'm getting behind on my reviews! GAH!!!

I have a copy of Sarah Mayberry's to give away. It's a brand new, never been read, Harlequin promotional book.

I'm sorry, life is throwing me another curve ball. I'd been sick for awhile and now my dad is in the hospital. He went in Sunday night with pneumonia, but tests have shown that it's possible he's got a serious cancer and my mom will have to come live with us. It's still not for sure, but its not looking good. Things are so up in the air right now.

Pamela, I'm so sorry I've been such a lousy co-moderator for so long. I wish I could say things will get better, but I'm not sure that's true.

I'd like to remain in the group, but I'm feeling so guilty about not carrying my share. I'm going to step down as a moderator. You've been so awesome and so understanding, but I just can't stop feeling guilty about it.

Please send prayers and positive thoughts for my mom and dad, they are in need.

I don't watch AI. I tried back when the show was new, but I got so sick of the horrible stuff in the beginning and I can't just sit and laugh at people making fools of themselves.

Then, I started waiting until only the good ones were left, and then I still didn't like it. LOL
