And by the way, this issue has me more than a bit chapped. And I had reviews "mysteriously" disappear after I spoke out about it.Hhmph!

It takes me twice as long to listen because I fall asleep. Or, I didn't quite understand something, or I missed something, and it's harder to find what I'm looking for with audio.

For example, with this book, the Kindle Version is $7.59 and then you can get the Audible version for $11.49. In my opinion, that's still not a bargain, but I've gotten some great deals...
For example, I bought the Kindle version of Flowers from the Storm for $5.69, then bought the audible version for $3.49. I got both for less than the audible alone, and far less than the $14.95 per month I pay for a single credit membership. When I can get the books at the reduced price, I do that and pay cash, saving my credits for the super pricey audio books.
And, by the way, Flower from the Storm is BRILLIANT both in reading and in listening. BRILLIANT!

I believe (but I'm not sure) that all the author's copies have been claimed. There's a Goodreads giveaway for the book.
