2966 I read the book King Lear and I loved the character Cordelia. She is willing to forgive his father after he has treated her badly. She is willing to forgive and help him in his time of need.

2966 A lesson a novel has taught me is to do help someone who is being treated badly. There is nothing worse than regreting that there might have been something you could have done to help the person.

2966 My favorite book is A Child Called "It" by Dave Pelzer. It is a story of the horrible memories Dave remembers growing up. There are so many horrible things he went through and anyone who reads it will be horrified. I admire the young boys courage to do all he can to be alive.

2966 Hi! My name is Sandra Martinez. I am currently attending Cerritos College. I am part of the Teacher TRAC program to become an elementary teacher. I haven't had the time to read any books because the classes I'm taking require hours of writing.

2966 I have no favorite fictional characters because I don't remember ever having any. I loved reading books that were horror. I loved the books of R.L stine Fear Street. I read the first book of Harry Potter and it is a good character.

2966 I have recently read the book called "A Child Called "It" I am sure most people are familiar with the book and I felt that it is truly a horrific story and no child should go through this madness. I do recommend everyone who has not read the book specially future teachers. This is the only book I have read so far but I will try to read more books.

2966 This site can be used to improve teaching and learning by seeing what each person reads. There are many books that a lot of people have not heard of before and will be interested to read it. Since, each student has a variety of books on his or her bookshelf then everyone can share their opinions about why they recommend the books they read. This can help teachers in improving teaching and learning by suggesting books that many have an interest in and will be of great interest to others.

There is a book for everyone and this site will promote a few of many books that are most popular and help all readers take in interest and improve their reading skills.

2966 I loved reading The Boxcar Children. I thought these books were fascinating because it was about solving various mysteries. It was a book easy to read. As a child I loved reading books that were mysterious and horror. I began reading the boxcar children when I was in second grade and read many of its books. One of many of my favorite titles from The Boxcar Children was The Lighthouse Mystery.
Then, at each grade level I began to take an interest in reading horror stories such as Goosebumps. I loved reading these type of books because it was about mystery and unexplainable events. I remember I began to read Goosebumps when I was in the fifth grade.
Then, when I was in sixth grade I continued reading horror books. However, it wasn't goosebumps, it was from the same author R.L. Stine who wrote a series titled Fear Street Titles. I enjoyed reading these books and it helped me improve my reading skills. My mom did not agree on my choice of books but it made me a better reader and interested in reading books on a daily basis.
