I would recommend, The Nazi Officers Wife, it is a wonderful love story that took place in real life.
One of my favorite books when I was a child was The Giving Tree. It talked about love and sacrifice. I remember a teacher reading it to me with so much love and meaning, she gave us an explanation of the book, and told us that it is better when we give.
I thinnk Tiffany's ideas is a great one. Teachers can recommend age appropriate books that they have seen have caught the attention of their students. This site could be used to improve teaching in that good books about professional development can be reccommended to teachers. They can make a better choice as to how to spend their time wisely reading a book that will help them become better informed on how to become great teachers.
Teacher can also learn from the experiences of othersteacehrs.
