A Child called "It" is one one my faviorites as well. I have read all three books, and as a parent, I can't imagine what his parents were thinking to do such horrid acts of hate. However his courage puts me in aw.

I really enjoyed the movie, and havn't yet read the book, I am thinking about picking it up, and someday having time to read it.

I think this site would be helpful for teachers to discuss (in younger grades) what books were read to the class, what lessons where taught in addition to the reading, and how this was received by the class and how well the lesson went.

My name is Amber Garcia, I am currently a student at Cerritos College, also apart of the Teacher Trac Program. I am a very picky reader, I don't read much because I havn't found many books I would take time out to read. I have read the series "A Boy called It". I like true to life books, I guess it is because it is nice to know you are not alone in your suffering.
