Chris rolled his eyes, "Haha, very funny," he muttered, smiling slightly, "Well right now she's not. She's being a bitch actually."

Chris looked at down after Jasmine saw him and sighed, "You have like no feelings," he mumbled at Melanie, smiling weakly.

Chris nodded, wrapping his arm around her shoulders, "Yeah, I remember. Did you even cry when your dad...died?" he asked quietly. He saw Jasmine walking along the park again, carrying a bag, "Jasmine!" he said towards her, "Whoops. Didn't mean to do that," he mumbled quietly, looking away.

((back, for a little))

Chris frowned sympathetically, "It's okay...you can cry, you know," he said, rubbing her back, soothingly.

Matt smiled and turned his head slightly to kiss her lips, "That's better," he said, smiling.

"Aww....I'm sorry, Mel," he said, sympathetically, hugging her comfortingly.

Chris bit his lip as he saw Jasmine walk away, "Yeah...wait. Your mom and dad died?"

Matt smiled slightly, "Nah, it's fine. At least we're together now, right...?"

Matt smirked, "Yeah, but I was okay with just being your best friend," he said, shrugging.

Chris smiled again, "So what have you been up to?" he asked, changing the subject, looking out at the park. "That's Jasmine," he said when her walk past the park.

Chris smiled, "Yup, that's what we are..." he said, sighing softly.

Matt tilted his head to the side, thinking, "Hmm...like since eighth grade..." he said, smiling.

"And that's exactly what we do. All the time. We can be happy and laughing one moment and the next we're trying to rip each others' heads off," he murmured, tucking his knees to his chest.

Chris rolled his eyes, sitting on a bench, "What's so funny?" he snapped, "I'm telling you everything and you're laughing."

"Ugh, I haven't even done anything wrong. That's the worst part. I don't even know what the hell we're doing that we're getting each other mad and start fighting. It's over the stupidest, randomest things ever," he said, started to yell then tried to calm down, walking to the park, "I just don't want to go through all this crap anymore."

Chris started walking again, "No, you don't get it! We're not a regular couple. We're so screwed up. And it's not only me that's screwing up. She is too. We're the most screwed up, fight-addicted couple ever. If we're even considered a "couple" anymore."

Chris turned around, "Exactly! You don't know the truth. You don't know anything anymore. You haven't been here. That's not everything, not even close. You didn't know she was raped and got pregnant. You didn't know it was by Josh. You didn't know I just fucking beat him up when I found out. You didn't know we've fought like seven times already. You're not helping me. You're making things worse!"

Chris narrowed his eyes, "You're suppose to be here to help me, aren't you? I don't think telling me I'm screwing things up is frigging helping me. You don't even know her or what the hell she's done. Or me. You haven't been here for a long time, Mel. Keep up with things before you try to "help me out" again," he snapped, walking away from her.

Chris laughed, "Have you not realized out "relationship" is screwed up? And she wasn't really going to "fix" things."

Chris rolled his eyes, "Don't slap me. And it's not like Nick's the only one. She was going to "fix" things with Josh," he murmured quietly.

Chris nodded, "Yeah, I guess. Lets see what you come up with," he murmured to himself.
