He advanced toward Alice first, having no control whatsoever over his actions.
Hatter couldn't avoid the mist now. He began to climb down.
His eyes turned to their usual color, and he was immediately confused.
"No!" He got to the top of the tree and pushed the Creature off, as simple as that.
Alice calling his name did not knock him out of his trance.
"No."
The rational part of Hatter wanted to scream out. He couldn't! Not his sister and girlfriend! Maybe the Twins... But not his sister and girlfriend! His eyes turned black and he continued to climb.
Suddenly Hatter found he couldn't control his actions.
He continued to climb, and reached where the person controlling the twins was. Whoever it was wasn't facing him, and it would've been easy to push whoever it was out of the tree.
Well, she did overthrow the Queen of Hearts... "Okay, but hush." He started climbing the tree.
He saw Alice running after him. He turned around and whispered, "No. Alice, I don't want you getting hurt."
Why don't I have a weapon?! He ran to the tree.
Hatter watched Raven quiet, ready to move if anything hurt his sister.
"I don't think so."
"Me and Raven is all I know for sure."
"Nobody can do the black-misty thing but the royal family, I think."
"Well, no. I suppose it could be one of my other sisters, but they're too stupid."
He felt as if he were talking to a small child. "Raven's trying to find out, see?"
"It seems to be controlling them."
"Look. They've got a mist around their heads."
