I love listening to Sherman Alexie read his own work. The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian is one of my all-time favorite audiobooks. I've read he is working on a sequel to that book. I sure hope that is true. My favorite story in this collection was "War Dances."

It's worth mentioning that David Small is a Caldecott Award-winning illustrator of more than 40 children's picture books. Stitches shows what a talented and versatile artist he is, capable of touching a wide range of readers.
