And not a whimper...

All of California is in some quake zone or another. This one was centered almost 200 miles from me. I’ve never been in a tall building when a quake hit, though, although once I was in a cabin on stilts on the side of a hill.

About half a mile, Sharon. And a great view of the ocean. Oh, do come sometime! That would be fun.

Well put, Ken. I don’t have words to describe my pessimism and fear. Hit with my husband’s death and two months later the election of T, I’m still struggling for normalcy.

And right in step with my mood, we’re still experiencing our normal June Gloom here. If the fog and clouds lift we’ll be able to watch the official fireworks from 3 cities while sitting on my patio.
