I don’t make resolutions beyond an occasional to do list jotted on the back of an envelope: call plumber, new bulb in patio light...

My to read list is the books piled on the piano bench. And frankly, I’d rather be boiled than read philosophy. It’s like trying to untangle a bowl of noodles.

The good news is that I’m almost up to speed again on reading. After Leif died I didn’t read a book for a year. It actually started while he was on hospice. I just didn’t have the concentration.
