2740 Atticus Review has nominated my poem Love in Our Eighth and Ninth Decades for Best of the Net anthology. I was thrilled when they chose to publish it. Now I’m even happier.
Here's a link to Atticus

And here's a copy of the poem:

Love in Our Eighth and Ninth Decades

It’s like lifting a violin out of its case,
a trick of the light that drives the music.
We give ourselves to those well-known melodies
as if our bodies were as they were before,
and our hearts slide into the world of sheer delight
where we tangle ourselves
in every way we’re still able,
glut our mad old eyes with each other,
until everything is reduced to a single light.
Our skin glistered in sweat,
we can be beautiful again.
