25350 Books written specifically to become films- ala the new Jason Bourne books- I cannot recall any Ludlum book - brilliant as they are- being filmed in his lifetime- yet some 10 years after his death- not only is there a new cottage industry of "Robert Ludlum*" books written by others- but several have been filmed- I truly wonder if Ludlum was against turning his books into films as many writers are- yet being dead for a decade- his estate feels..um..differently- just a thought
