I have just watched Best in Show for the 10th time! Still hilarious. And perfect for dog lovers. Such a quotable film!
I am reading Lady Anna by Trollope. Love his books and this is a fascinating look at Victorian marriage and nobility
I have been watching a lot of newly restored silent films. Amazing how 90 year old films can look so great due to hard and dedicated work. Just saw the restored Keaton Steamboat Bill Jr. Stunning!!!
Just finished watching my Criterion version Chaplin masterpiece Monsieur Verdoux.. One of my all time favorite films. A brilliant dark comedy that gets better with every viewing!!! A major flop when first released. This is truly a unique and worthwhile film. Martha Raye is a riot as one of Chaplin's wives. Again. A true masterpiece of cinema
I am currently reading The Ark. A terrific thriller that moves along at a fine pace and has two very likable lead characters and a very well drawn main villain

I love old time radio so I know that I will enjoy audio books..odd I have yet to listen to a single one yet!
I have to be honest..I LOVED
..the film..have not read the book..reminded me a bit of Goodfellas..how Scorsese uses the lead character to narrate during the film..definitely NOT for those under 21!!..but a really great film

Thanks Lance!!
Reading a fascinating thriller..Dry Ice
About how governments and corporations can manipulate the weather for both good and nefarious reasons!!

very very well said Feliks!!!
I watched the bluray of
yesterday and found it a stunning film. Love how Scorcase made it in the same style as Goodfellas. With the VoiceOver narration. Powerful film. Very much NOT for kids!!
Barbara wrote: "I finished The Gods of Guilt by Michael Connelly. Attorney Mickey Haller has problems. He regularly represents criminal lowlifes and his embarrassed teenage daughter ..."I loved
and what a great title!!
