25350 Magnificent posts!!
25350 I have been watching a lot of newly restored silent films. Amazing how 90 year old films can look so great due to hard and dedicated work. Just saw the restored Keaton Steamboat Bill Jr. Stunning!!!
25350 Just finished watching my Criterion version Chaplin masterpiece Monsieur Verdoux.. One of my all time favorite films. A brilliant dark comedy that gets better with every viewing!!! A major flop when first released. This is truly a unique and worthwhile film. Martha Raye is a riot as one of Chaplin's wives. Again. A true masterpiece of cinema
25350 I always loved Sounder. The book and film Sounder by William H. Armstrong

I am currently reading The Ark. A terrific thriller that moves along at a fine pace and has two very likable lead characters and a very well drawn main villain
25350 Dragon Prince (Dragon Prince, #1) by Melanie Rawn . A stunning work

25350 All good now!!
25350 I watched the bluray of The Wolf of Wall Street (Movie Tie-in Edition) by Jordan Belfort yesterday and found it a stunning film. Love how Scorcase made it in the same style as Goodfellas. With the VoiceOver narration. Powerful film. Very much NOT for kids!!
