over the years, since I started this Group..I have heard from many author friends that reviews matter..and I guess they do..yet, I cannot help feeling that many reviews are not honest..are written by those who wish to insult. rather than inform.. the fact that anyone can now review books is wonderful..but a double edged sword..

25350 I just love reading a current thriller and a classic novel!!
The two ones in reading now is The Quest by Nelson DeMille and
Barchester Towers by Anthony Trollope Ed
25350 The Quest by Nelson DeMille I am halfway through this "new" book by Nelson DeMille. I really am enjoying it. I know you hat many of his readers were upset that he released a book that he first wrote in the early 70's as a new hardcover yet the tale of a very diverse trio searching for The Holy Grail is a terrific read so far

25350 Felix Holt The Radical by George Eliot I am also currently reading Felix Holt the Radical by George Eliot. Very well written but a bit more difficult to fully understand the various plots. I love the atmosphere Eliot creates but take quite a bit of concentration to keep all the various characters and story threads straight. Just finished Lady Anna by Anthony Trollope and it was an utter joy to read. Far more accessible than Felix Holt

25350 I was reading Temple by Matthew Reilly and has to stop after 120 pages. The entire book is one long battle. I like thrillers that have action and plot not just a constant battles and near escapes
