I agree 100% Roger. Dickens is a perfect example of an author expertly handling a large cast of characters. Each one adds to the overall narrative. Never confuses it

Mickey. I will not read books by this cold hearted murderess. Now this has nothing to do with her personal life. I am the last person to judge anyone's personal life. Also far too liberal to be judgmental. Yet this is not about her personal life. It is a about an overt act of horrific violence and my belief that she should be shunned. Same with that pathetic and psychotic fascist and anti-Semite Ezra Pound. Will not read anything by him either. My choice

Superb review! A must read for sure
25350 I went to see We Are The Millers. Fun but very unoriginal. Unless it comes to a dollar movie theatre near you... Wait for the rental or Netflix

There is nothing funny about taking a bunch of books with you when you go on vacation! I was just in New Jersey for a few days and took a good 6 or 7 books with me. No chance I was going to be able to read them.. Just liked knowing I had them. Books make most wonderful traveling companions!

Yes I agree Sandy. Tey is one of the finest mystery writers. I have the impression that she is experiencing a well deserved renaissance

25350 I am going to get slammed for this... But I find Asimov to be quite dry. Have not been able to finish any book of his.
