50x66 The Situation: The students in your health class have been asked to produce a monthly newspaper for the school community which will provide information about health threats and suggest how to avoid them by adopting a healthier lifestyle. You have been asked to write an article about
the threat of sun exposure and to suggest ways that people can protect themselves from this threat.

Your Task: Using relevant information from both documents, write an article for a monthly school newspaper in which you discuss the threat of sun exposure and suggest ways that people can protect themselves from this threat.

WHICH TASK IS THIS?
This is task number two.

CREATE AN OUTLINE FOR YOUR WRITING FOR THIS TASK:

1. Introduction (explain why is the sun is dangerous for you)
2. Reason #1(maybe “Madame Marie Curie” could help us find a solution for this problem)
3. Reason #2 (stay away from the sum and “suggest ways that people can protect themselves from this threat.”

50x66 In this piece of writing In going to be comparing two different stories that I had read either in the past or recently based on the quote “In a dark time, the eye begins to see,...” by Theodore Roethke. In my won words what this quote is trying to say is that when you doing something wrong or something harmful you realize what you are doing and open your eyes to start acting in a more responsible way. However sometimes we don’t want to accept that we had done something wrong and that in some occasions in life we are going to have obstacles trying to stop us from achieving something in our lives.

“In a dark time, the eye begins to see,...” by Theodore Roethke. I agree with this quote because what it is trying to say is that when you are having a hard time is when you open your eyes and start realizing what is happening to you at that right moment and try to find a good solution. A good example for this quote is the Frederick Douglas book by Frederick Douglass because when he were going through his toughest moments he realized that it wasn’t right what they were doing to him. They were treating him like an animal and they dehumanized him. Also I agree with this quote because when you are going through hard times and you open your eyes like Frederick did you could find a good solution to your problems and don’t do the wrong thing.

Frederick Douglass was an American slaved who achieved what he wanted by fighting for it, however Frederick didn’t achieved everything that he wanted by him self, he got help from almost all of the other slaves that were there living with him. Frederick learned how to read and write and by doing that he opened his eyes and accomplished a lot more things than what he use to do before. Sometimes it was really hard for Frederick to make a decision because they didn’t have any one to express his sorrows.
