50x66 According to Theodore Roethke said "In a dark time, the eyes begin to see. In other words, in a hard time you begin to see yourself more clearly. (You can fix it). I'm agreeing with this quote because, in next stop by Ivan Sanchez, the character demonstrated the perspective at that time he was living a hard life. In "Teen angst nah" by Ned vizzinni, also is connected with this quote because, the main character was malicious, until he realized he was wrong.
Next Stop by Ivan Sanchez honors the memories of those who died. The main character was very raw and delinquent. He always was hanging out with his friends. Furthermore, Smoking, fighting and robber were things that he used to do. Only the strong survived. The setting of this story was very dangerous, clearly all his friends died In the course of the plot. However, he had a family which makes him realize of his actions and focus on what he has to do. This memoir follows him to escape from poverty and search for his identity.
Teen angst nah ,by Ned Vizzinni

Both story the main characters were having a hard life on the street. In Next stop the author talks about how was his life a long times ago in the Bronx. He explained the consequences that he made for doing the wrong thing. After all, those terrible actions that he was doing make him think, of his life in a future. However, he quit from the street and went to college to study and become an author of his own book. In “teen against nahhh ..." this story is very similar to this quote because, in the teen time, they have a hard time and difficult to understand or to do the right thing. Consequently, an always person change their attitudes and becomes more responsible and reject all the negative energy.

50x66 ACCORDING TO THE QUOTE "IN A DARK TIME, THE EYES BEGIN TO SEE,..." BY THEODORE ROETHKE. IN OTHER WORDS, IN A HARD TIME YOU BEGIN TO SEE YOURSELF MORE CLEARLY.FURTHERMORE, YOU CAN FIX IT. I'M AGREE WITH THIS QUOTE BECAUSE, IN "NEXT STOP" BY IVAN SANCHEZ, THE CHARACTER DEMOSTRATED THE PERSPECTIVE AT THAT TIME HE WAS LIVING A HARD LIFE. "TEEN AGAINST NAH" BY NED VIZZINI, ALSO IS CONECTED WITH THIS QUOTE BECAUSE, THE MAIN CHARACTER WAS MALICIOUS, UNTIL HE REALIZED HE WAS WRONG.

BOTH STORY THE MAIN CHARACTERS WERE HAVING A HARD LIFE ON THE STREET. IN "NEX STOP" THE AUTHOR TALKS ABOUT HOW WAS HIS LIFE A LONG TIMES AGO IN THE BRONX. IN " TEEN AGAINST NAHHH .." THIS STORY IS VERY SIMILAR TO THIS QUOTE BECAUSE, IN THE TEEN TIME, THEY HAVE A HARD TIME AND DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND OR TO DO THE RIGHT THING. CONSEQUENTLY, ALWAYS PEOPLE CHANGE THEIR ATTITUDES AND BECAMES MORE RESPONSABLE AND REJECT ALL THE NEGATIVE ENERGY.

50x66 Humanity is the quality of being human. However, slaves
were dehumanize by their masters. Genarally most of their masters treated them very cruelly. For instance, they whiped them and punished without compasssion. Nevertheless, Frederick Douglass was abolitionist and civil rights activist. Furthermore, he was fighting fo his slavery, until it was abolist.
